MARTIN ZAUJEC

is a musician, most of all.
He plays drums, guitar, synths (barely), and does vocals (meh).
But he really likes the drums.
And he likes to write about himself in the 3rd person.
How cool.
This is him in various musical scenarios, look:

OKAY, WHO?

Martin was born in 1993 in Nitra, a not-too-big-not-too-small city in western Slovakia. He knew he liked music since the first time he heard his mom listening to Jethro Tull’s Aqualung on full blast. Solid move, mum. Anyway, he started playing drums when he was 14, and hasn’t stopped since (the neighbours hated him most of that time). He even attended the local art school for like 5 years, where he studied drums. But even before that, he used to fiddle around with his uncle’s old guitar which he accidentaly learned how to play, and everytime he went to grandma’s he played his granddad’s old organ. Quite a lot of noise for one kid. Who would have thought he’d make a living out of that.

Throughout the past 10 years he started taking music seriously. He has recorded drums for at least 15–20 bands, recorded and played live guitar for, like, maybe 5 I think, played live synths for 3 live electronic projects, sang vocals for around 7 live acts and recorded vocals for innumerable artists (I literally can’t remember all of them, but a lot since he works at a recording studio now) recorded bass guitar for a few artists AND played live bass guitar for two bands (he’s really proud of those because it was a lot of fun and bass is his guilty pleasure). Even though these sound vague, the author (yup, the same Martin) promises these were all real-life paid gigs or recording sessions, not just ‘let’s play guys’ jam sessions. Pinky promise.
